One of the issues that raises the most concern and doubts when acquiring personalized sports equipment is the correct choice of size. Since it is a custom-made production with an exclusive design, and in many cases with a specific name/number, it is vital to choose the size correctly as exchanges/returns of sizes from a personalized order cannot be made, since generally the exact units are manufactured.
Why is it important to choose your size well in sports clothing? With your ideal size, you will achieve optimal and functional mobility without restrictions, it will be comfortable avoiding any chafing or irritation during sports practice, and finally, you will look better aesthetically.
At Teamergy, we give you 2 easy options so that choosing your size is the least of your problems and you can have the peace of mind that you will get the perfect fit.
OPTION 1: BASED ON THE MEASUREMENTS OF THE FINISHED GARMENT
- Look in your closet for a garment that you regularly use for the sport you practice (Trail, Running, OCR…) that has similar characteristics to the one you are going to measure from Teamergy and with which you feel comfortable.
- Lay the chosen garment completely flat on a surface and ensure there are no wrinkles in any of its parts.
- If possible, use a suitable flexible measuring tape to correctly take the flat measurements indicated for each part of the clothing.
- In the case of upper garments, you should measure flat the width of the chest from one armpit to the other and the full length of the front part, from the tip of the shoulder to the hem.

- In the case of lower garments, you should measure flat the width of the waist (passing the tape over the elastic band) and the full length along the outer edge, from the elastic band to the hem.

- Write down the measurements taken and look in the product size charts on our website for the ranges that match those measurements to choose your correct size. Each garment has its specific measurements, meaning that having a size M t-shirt does not imply that you will also have it in the windbreaker. It is vital that you measure each garment individually to ensure you choose the right size.
- IMPORTANT: the tolerance of the measurements in the charts is ±1 centimeter. If you have doubts about choosing one size or another, we recommend choosing the larger one, as it is preferable to have a looser garment than an unwearable one because it is excessively small.
OPTION 2: BASED ON YOUR BODY MEASUREMENTS
Here you should measure 3 parts of your body. First, your chest, passing the measuring tape around the widest part of it (generally between the armpits and nipples). Second, your waist, wrapping around the narrowest part of the torso (normally 5 centimeters above the navel). Third, your hips, wrapping the measuring tape around the widest part of the hips (this will be the most important measurement for lower garments). Write down all the measurements taken and access the general body measurement chart that you will find in this body size guide.

For this second option, we also leave you the following useful tips:
- Always use a suitable flexible measuring tape whenever you can.
- Measure yourself standing up. We recommend having someone assist you, but if that's not possible, do it in front of a mirror for greater accuracy.
- If possible, measure yourself in tight or fitted clothing, without wearing loose clothing, as it may affect the measurements taken.
- Avoid tightening the measuring tape too much against your body when measuring, as it may result in a smaller size.
- Repeat the process at least 2 times to verify that the measurements taken match.
